"I always thought that in the great quid quo pro of men and women, there was never an even exchange. Women always are forking out too much quid for some fairly dubious quo."

Anita! This post is for you, babycakes.
In a notebook that was rarely used, I happened upon a list that I'd tucked away in there once upon a time. This list is titled "Movies to See," complete with a little scribble of a girl that's "happy b/c she's watching a movie." The handwriting cracks me up. I don't even recognize it as my own. How crazy is that!
Anyway, the list is as follows:
1. Mary Poppins [most likely, your choice as I still have had nothing to do with this movie]
2. Amelie/L'Auberge Espagnole
3. Chocolat
4. Breakfast at Tiffany's
5. Ever After
6. Italian Job
7. My Fair Lady
8. A Mighty Wind
9. Princess Bride [And next to this, I have written "Smitty." Who knows.]
10. Doc Savage, Man of Bronze [now I KNOW this was your idea]
11. Manos, the Hands of Fate [yes, it was crossed out, in my pen. Then, followed by] Yes! No! Yes x Infinity! [all you]
12.MST3K: Track of the Moonbeast
13.Count of Monte Cristo
14.Nicholas Nickelby [incredibly depressing]
15. Finding Nemo
16.Gosford Park
17. Casablanca
18. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
19.Down With Love [mediocre, at best]
20.Ferris Bueller's Day Off
21. Catch Me If You Can
22. Wizard of Oz
23. Willy Wonka
24.Sound of Music [with the words "Anita" next to it?]
25. My Dog Skip [I think we both had a crush on the kid in this movie. What was his name? What did we call him? He had a codename for, ah, yes, well...]
26.Gentlemen Prefer Blondes
27. Fantasia 2000
28.Serendipity
29.1776 [bahahaha!]
30.Airplane [hello WHY wasn't this closer to the top?]
FABULOUS! The ones in red I've seen. You should repost with the ones you've seen!
Miss you all like crazy! It's almost Spring Break. Hang in there, kids.
Aww, I love it. Adrienne, don't worry, you were a rebellious little shit. I sure didn't approve! read more
